About the course

The AGL California Endorsement (AGL-CA) extends the AGL professional certification to the law of California. Across five units, it covers the State Bar's discipline machinery and how a sanctioned filing becomes a disciplinary matter; California's professional responsibility duties as applied to AI use, including the State Bar's guidance on generative AI; the state's AI statute stack, including privacy and automated decisionmaking rules; California courts' standing orders and enforcement; and the compliance context for California practitioners. The endorsement is designed to follow the core AGL certification and closes with a 16-item examination; a score of 12 of 16 (75%) passes. AGL-CA is a private professional certification. It is not a license, not legal advice, and not an endorsement by any bar or regulator.
